A wholistic collaborative approach to weight loss

Support Phases

This coaching program cycles through three phases of support with your health coach: intensive, moderate and independent.

Intensive Support Phase

The first phase is 12 weeks long, and encompasses twice weekly scheduled exercise (walking), once per week grocery shopping outings, and once per

week cooking sessions in a community kitchen.  This equals four supportive coaching sessions each week.

Moderate Support Phase

The second phase is 24 weeks in duration and dials this down to once per week exercising together (with the goal of you continuing the second session with another program participant). You will continue to meet together with your coach and other program participants to cook together once per week. This equals two supportive coaching sessions each week.

Independent Support Phase

The third and final phase of this program is designed to still provide you with support, while you make these habits become your own lifestyle.

During these 12 weeks, your coach will still meet you once per week, with

one week being exercise and the next week cooking together.  

As you meet other program participants during community cooking classes, we encourage you to replace your coached exercise sessions with independent exercise with other program participants.  Your shared experiences and progress will help you encourage each other to stay on track to meet your goals.
