About Us
Most people know what they need to do to lose weight - eat healthy and exercise. It’s the implementation of this that most people get stuck on. We want to help bridge that gap!

Hands-On Weight Management is unique in that it works in tandem with healthcare providers and their patients in a very hands-on way. After receiving a personal request from a program participant and a medical release from a health care professional, we will work with a program participant for a duration of one year in order to establish new healthy habits that will become their new lifestyle. This coaching program cycles through three phases of support with the health coach: intensive, moderate and independent.

We will grocery shop, cook and exercise with our program participants, as well as attend appointments with their healthcare professionals if desired by both parties. As coaches, we are there to encourage our clients and to help them realize what has been holding them back from accomplishing their life goals.

We do not subscribe to fad diets - they do not work for long-term weight management. The restrict/binge cycle only adds the weight back on and leaves people feeling defeated. Here at Hands-On, we believe in a balanced whole food diet using all food groups and lots of herbs and spices. Making sure that our food is yummy and satisfying ensures that it is something that our program participants want to keep eating!
